Columbia New Southwest Middle School

The new 126,500 square foot middle school will accommodate 700 students to address continued growth. The new middle school consists of a two-story classroom room wing incorporating team building and collaborative alcoves; media center and front office centrally located to act as a hub to buffer high volume and active spaces; and vocal and instrumental music rooms, cafeteria and gymnasium which are separated from the academic area by a large central corridor. The new school will feature state of the art technology and special detail to security. The exterior will showcase multiple colors and sizes of masonry and metal panels.
