Normal East Passenger Platform and Station Improvements

Project consisted of a cast-in-place concrete loading platform with a glass canopy and aluminum gutter and downspouts supported by a painted structural steel framework. The project also consisted of some minor demolition and remodeling at the existing former Amtrak Station, including, new acoustical panel ceilings with new lighting, metal stud and gypsum board wall furring, and new floor tile to match existing. New roofing was installed at the former Amtrak Station consisting of a fully-adhered membrane roof over new cover board and roof insulation.  Also included was a new rooftop unit at the former Amtrak Station.

Rock Island County Justice Center

Project consisted of the construction of a new 5-story, 51,800 square foot County Justice Center.  Three floors of the building are detention facilities and related spaces for 120 prisoners.  The remaining two floors are court facilities.

Mt. Sterling Correctional Center

New 750-man, medium security correctional center.
