Northern Illinois University – Stevens Building Addition and Renovation

Stevens Building is a 68,520 square foot, two-story building constructed in 1958 which houses the School of Theater Arts & Dance; the Department of Anthropology; classrooms; laboratories; and faculty offices. This project included the demolition of the buildings’ north wing and interior renovations of 21,000 square feet. The interior renovations included new interior partitions; finishes; windows; roofing; tuck-pointing; and new MEP systems through-out the facility. Also included in the project was a new 65,000 square foot addition which includes classrooms, laboratories, and offices for the Department of Anthropology; a 330 seat lecture hall; a black box theater and supporting scene shop spaces.

Northern Illinois University – East Campus Ph III Construct Chiller Plant/Replace Various Chillers

Project consisted of the construction of a new chiller plant for the east campus which houses (4) 1200-ton electric centrifugal chillers.  The building is a single-story steel and concrete structure with a full basement.  All associated plumbing, piping, site work, landscaping, etc. were included.
