Pekin Hospital – 7th Floor Nurses Station Renovation

A 10,000 square foot renovation of the 7th floor nurses station at Pekin Hospital.  This project included reworking the center core for the nursing station and updating the patient rooms around the core.  Work included demolition of interior partitions and the existing mechanical, electrical, fire protection and plumbing systems.  Improvements included new floor finishes, new grid ceilings, new millwork, new wall finishes, and new and improved mechanical/electrical/plumbing/fire protection systems.  This project was constructed in 5 phases to minimize impact to exiting Hospital operations.  All infection control, life safety, OSHA safety standards and IDPH standards were strictly maintained throughout the life of the project.
