“River City has always been about treating people like you would like to be treated.”
With over 35 years of experience at River City Construction under his belt, Eric knows a thing or two about collaboration and advocating for client needs. As Executive Vice President, Eric heads up the estimating efforts at River City Construction — bringing a balanced approach to each project using both data-driven and people-driven tactics to achieve the best results.
With a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and a minor in Business Administration from Bradley University, Eric’s passion for construction and people is present in every project he’s involved in. His extensive experience in water/wastewater treatment, parking structures, etc. brings value to his team. And he upholds each project with pride.
Eric looks forward to bid days, where he sees the culmination of hard work and anticipation leading up to those moments. He’s also big on field days and likes visiting jobsites and talking to field teams.
Apart from his dedication to the construction industry, what’s kept Eric at River City Construction is the people and work culture. He understands the value of encouraging ideas and voices across the board — something he’s noticed at River City Construction since day one. In every project, it’s the tried-and-true processes that have led to his — and the company’s — successes. Eric also enjoys working with young talented individuals who bring new perspectives and ideas.
When Eric isn’t working on the next bid, he likes being outdoors and spending time with his family at their lake house on Lake Winnebago in Oshkosh WI. He also enjoys running, hunting and fishing. Eric will retire at the end of 2023 and looks forward to making more family memories.
