The Lincoln’s Challenge Academy expansion involved the construction of approximately 136,000 SF of new facilities, following site clearing that included asbestos abatement and demolition of an existing structure. The project introduced three distinct buildings:
- Education Building – A two-story, 17,000 SF facility housing classrooms, offices, a multipurpose/testing room, computer labs, a library, a conference room, restrooms, and storage areas.
- Gymnasium/Logistics Building – A 26,000 SF space featuring a gymnasium, fitness center, locker rooms, restrooms, concession areas, a break room, offices, a vehicle maintenance and workshop area, a loading dock, and storage rooms.
- Administration/Residential Building – A four-story, 89,000 SF structure incorporating administrative offices, classrooms, cadet units, laundry rooms, a commercial kitchen, dining area, medical/exam rooms, restrooms, and storage spaces.
This development enhanced the academy’s infrastructure, supporting both educational and logistical operations while providing modern accommodations for staff and cadets.
