The IBEW 702 project is an addition to the existing training facility originally designed by River City Design Group and constructed by River City Construction in 2018. The project includes two primary additions. The first is an expanded high-bay training area used for hands-on instruction in the trade. The second is a south-side addition that includes four classrooms, offices, a breakroom, and a simulation room for virtual training. The building also features a tornado-resistant shelter integrated within the restroom to provide safety during high-wind events. In total, the two additions comprise approximately 10,000 SF.
