The ROLE…

PROJECT ENGINEER

  • Support project teams while developing the skills to become a project manager.
  • Project coordination including but not limited to: RFI’s, Submittals, Document Control, Project Closeout, etc.
  • Work collaboratively with the Project Superintendent to gain construction knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain positive client and construction trades’ relationships.

The QUALIFICATIONS…

  • Proficient with software programs and the use of technology.
  • Degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred.

The ROLE…

PROJECT MANAGER

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by identifying and exceeding all client needs.
  • Establish and maintain positive client and construction trades’ relationships.
  • Plan and schedule projects.
  • Estimate, value engineer, and develop project budgets.
  • Ability to process, distribute, and track all project documentation.
  • Develop and negotiate subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Manage jobs in progress including subcontractor coordination, conflict resolution, documentation, and ensuring quality and safety on every job.
  • Work closely with engineers and architects to ensure the project is completed on budget and within scope.
  • Manage project costs through the ongoing evaluation of labor, material, and equipment.
  • Project coordination including but not limited to: RFI’s, Submittals, Document Control, Project Closeout, etc.
  • Manage issues and risks.
  • Forecast profits through completion.
  • Capable of managing projects ranging from $5-$50 million in size.
  • Comfortable making decisions, both large and small.

The QUALIFICATIONS…

  • Minimum of 5 years construction management or related experience.
  • Proficient with construction software (Bluebeam, Viewpoint, TEAM, etc.)
  • Strong and effective organization skills.
  • The ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Able to work and build commitment within the project team.
