Project Summary

The multi-phased project encompasses various components including site work, a new paint and body shop, a new bus maintenance facility, an administrative/operations building, new parking for employees and visitors, along with renovations to their existing south storage building. Demolition of existing north storage building, and nearby residential structures were phased out as the project progressed.

Phase A: This phase includes the construction of a Paint & Mixing Booth and a Body Shop. It involves tree removal, site clearing, grading, retaining walls, site pavement, utilities, and the installation of insulated metal panels, paint and mixing booths, overhead doors, and finishes. RCC was awarded the general works package for Phase A which included self-perform work to furnish and install the mixing and paint booths.

Phases B, C, & D: These phases cover the development of an Administration Building and Maintenance Facility. The work includes the use of precast and structural steel, the creation of office spaces, parts and maintenance areas, utilities, and the installation of insulated metal panels and finishes. RCC handled all owner specialty equipment, lifts, bridge crane, tire carousel, epoxy flooring, tool carts, tool cages, etc.
