Emergency Department Expansion, OSF St. Mary Medical Center

Galesburg, IL

Project Summary

The project encompassed the renovation of the existing Emergency Department and the construction of a new 6,000 SF Emergency Department. Additionally, it included the development of a two-level shell space designed to accommodate future radiology services.

“As we head into the New Year, the staff at OSF St. Mary Medical Center is truly mindful of the blessings we’ve had and are grateful for all the dedication our supporters have given in recent years. I want to take this opportunity to let you know how devoted we are to patient care and how your gracious support to the Emergency Department Expansion and Renovation Campaign has allowed us to continue our Mission.

The upgrade of the Emergency Department allows us to take care of more ill, injured and needy people in a more efficient and considerably more dignified manner than ever before. The centralized layout gives rapid access to virtually every room and facilitates almost immediate therapy and pain relief. The new Emergency Department, which has seen over 22,000 patients over the past year, is truly a calming environment in the midst of a critical time.

OSF St. Mary Medical Center has invested all of its resources in this region ensuring that Galesburg and the surrounding communities will always have access to the most advanced and skilled medical care. Our goal has remained the same, “to serve persons with the greatest care and love.” On behalf of the staff at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, I would like to again thank you for joining us in this endeavor to care for our community.”
