VP of New Work & Pursuits

AGC Certificate of BIM Management & 30-Hour OSHA

“It is vital to know what drives our people, so that we know how we can best serve them and position them for success.”

As the Vice President of New Work and Pursuits, Gabe is responsible for facilitating negotiated projects awarded based on client relationships, experience, and River City Construction’s qualifications. Gabe’s job is about the people. Throughout each project, he works alongside clients, architects, and engineers to plan, design, budget, bid, and finally, build. Gabe collaborates with a variety of people to provide innovative solutions and exceed client expectations.

A graduate of Peoria’s own Bradley University, and a 40 Under 40 award recipient, Gabe has been dedicated to the construction industry for more than twenty years and seeks to further cement River City Construction’s place as an industry leader through innovation, strategic partnerships, and exceeding clients expectations. When it comes to construction, Gabe knows that every project is different, and looks forward to tackling the challenges that arise along the way.

Because Gabe is involved in construction projects from the early stages, he takes pride throughout the entire process, from the initial pursuit to the final outcome. He feels passionate about the relationships built along the way, and most importantly, about seeing clients enjoy and utilize their newly constructed facilities.

Gabe believes that when the right people are in the right positions, anything is possible. In order to advance and achieve a common goal, Gabe believes that collaboration and innovation is key. This is why Gabe is passionate about training and development, as well as finding new ways to deliver quality to customers every time.

When Gabe isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, whom he refers to as his best friend, and his children. He enjoys running, biking, swimming, and playing guitar, and is always looking for ways to improve in these activities.
