The project involved both an addition and extensive renovations to the existing two-story University Science Building. The new addition introduced a main entrance, additional classrooms, and mechanical space, while the renovations modernized the facility with new interior finishes, a new roof, an upgraded exterior curtain wall system, and updated classroom and lab equipment. Additionally, the entire electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems underwent a full retrofit to enhance efficiency and functionality.

River City Construction delivered Phase 1 of Magill to the University on time and under an aggressive accelerated schedule. Phase 2 of the project finished on schedule. We had very difficult budget constraints and with River City’s assistance; we were able to proceed with value engineering Ideas that did not compromise quality. River City has been a “team player” with our staff and with our consultants and representatives.
